Although I have never smoked in my life and know that my lungs would depart in a welter of coughing if I did, I still have romantic visions and memories of both pipe and cigar smokers. My grandfather enjoyed the first and a well-liked German colleague indulged in the second – though not in the same era.....
It is easy to spot American tourists in the Caribbean. They're the ones who wear baseball caps backward in French restaurants and smoke cigars at breakfast. But they tip well.
