Today when surfer dudes see a righteous car and they say »sweet«, I wonder if they know that is the very definition of Old School English?

But then I remember the unpleasant fact that, in Dorothy Sayer's novel 'Strong Poison', the victim was successfully sent to kingdom come by the arsenic masquerading as sweet, white sugar around the Turkish Delight he so loved to eat!
