We all live in a capital I
In the middle of the desert
In the center of the sky.
All day long we polish up the I
To make it clean and shiny
So it brightens up the sky.
Rubbing it here
And scrubbing it there.
Polishing the I
So high in the air.
And as we work we sing a lively tune
»It is great to be so happy on a busy afternoon.«
And when we're through with the day's only chore,
We go into the I
And we close the door.
Capital I, capital I, capital I, capital I.
I had a dream of an open space. I had a dream that you had a different face.
The oppposite of I is We, but the opposite of We is the two of Us, seperated, it is non reversable. So the opposite of I must be You but the opposite of you would have to be Some One Else, so it is non reversable. The opposite of I in a grammatical sense is Me and the opposite of Me would be You, if You are indeed my opposite, which in fact i do not know. Thus proving that I am all encompasing, I have no opposite.
I think that 'I' is probably the most overused concept in the world. It's pointless and useless, I means nothing, we're all humans, so what's the point of trying to distinguish ourselves from one another. If you ask me 'I' is very pointless and should be abolished. Oh well.
i thought there was only one i, to represent my self, one way to see my self, my being- i thought and i...but then i looked in the mirror.
...II, III, IV, V... The Romans, for all their vaunted smarts, never developed the concept of zero. Which is to say: something that numerically represents nothing.
