Everytime a year ends I sit down and think about the missed opportunities; I promise to change and make things better; when the new year starts I forget about it instantly.

But every time I'm aware of missing a chance, I remember my promise and it's inevitable repetition at the end of the year – then I fall in a moment of grieve, and shrug it off.

Thanks to that single day of nostalgia and sadness. For I don't have to care for these saddening things for the rest of the year.
