It is ridiculous to think of conciousness in terms of behaviors. Conciousness is about awareness, principally self-awareness, while most of our behaviour comes from our »unconsciousness«. If I decide to walk out the door, I do so consciously. But do I consciously push myself 1.5 feet back from the table first, then stand, smooth my trousers and take my first step with my left foot? Didn't the decision to start with the left instead of the righthave to come from somewhere? |
