This are shoes usally made of nappa which only cover the toes and they habe a rubber ribbon which is to tight around the heels. this shoes are used in the disciplin rhytmic gymnastics where fast turnings are an essential part of each exercise but such fast turnings lead to burnings on the toes and therefore they had to be protected. The rest of the foot is bare becaus otherwise such fast turnings would be impossible. |
