Arkansas

The rain began as soon as we crossed into Arkansas. Here we go again, I thought. The rain came down harder and the frogs were springing across the road. It felt like a Judgement Day with a flood and frogs flying everywhere. I looked for a car wash to take in which to take shelter.

She woke up as I pulled into the bay. She squinted and tried to focus on what was going on outside. I pushed my hand through her hair, and the windows started to steam.
